I Sing From A Well

Location

I sing form a well

30ft below

Drowning in my own tears

They hear me surrender

"Save me from tomorrow!"

I feel shallow, shallow can be

Though my heart is so deep

That it flows like the river

& yet is so cold

That it makes winter feel hot

That makes skyscrapers feel low

& makes me feel high

Above & beyond far out of sight

And that's just enough

Just enough for me to know

That there will be tomorrows

And tomorrow will be like any other tomorrows

That I know

Because we don't live for today's expectations

We live for tomorrow's invitations

And so I sing from a well

30ft below

They hear me surrender

"Save me from my tomorrow!"
