I was never meant to be beautiful

I don't think I was ever meant to be beautiful.

My legs were never meant to be pretty because I climb too many trees;

And I longboard everywhere I go, so I won't ever have slender, feminine legs;

I often fall off said longboard, giving me far too many scrapes and bruises.

My hair is always a mess because I like to hang out of car windows.

My skin was never meant to be perfect because I have so many freckles.

My smile takes up most of my face and I smile often.

I like to wear odd things because it makes me happy.

I don't think I was ever meant to be beautiful-

But I'm okay with this.
