I wish

I wish someone told me that heartbreak isn’t easy to get through.

I wish someone told me that everything in your life leads up to something.

I wish someone told me that everything gets easier, even when it doesn’t feel like it.

I know the thoughts that run through my head are just me thinking negative.

I can’t help but think that they’re real and its really how I feel.

I wish someone had told me that it is okay to cry.

To feel so low that you wish that you just weren’t alive.

That everything in the end will become harder as it becomes easier.

That everything that occurs will have a feeling behind it.

Sadness is okay.

Anger is okay.

Crying is okay.

Happiness is okay.

Coping in your ways of being sober is the way.

I wish that the part of me that has hit rock bottom.

Doesn’t continue to find herself in the bottom of a bottle.

Doesn’t continue to find herself at the end of a blunt.

Doesn’t continue to find herself talking to whoever she can to be happy and social interaction.

That she finds out that it all is like this for a reason.

That karma finds her way to help you.

That in the end, It all gets better.

No matter what you think.
