Rhythm and rhyme,
A logical use of my time.
A creation of wonder and thought,
My own separate world with life being brought.

Original each time,
Something I'll do anytime.
Symbolic and free,
With ten verses or three.

A haiku or sonnet,
All of which are harmonic.
Something simple and sweet,
Or something dark and discreet.

Nevertheless, I will continue to write,
Where my words and thoughts will unite.
Today I pick up my pen,
And I shall write again.
