#IAmJada: Time to Wake Up

Location

In today’s world, one of the hardest things to be in life is a woman.

To be a woman in the 21st century is to be made a mockery of, ridiculed, used, abused, overlooked, discarded, dismissed, dissed, and given the finger or a fist.

Most of us are Jadas.

Our dignity taken because we were in the wrong place at the wrong time or in the face of the wrong crime and we refuse to act like everything is fine.

Men are supposed to be our protectors and lovers, so why are they allowed to abuse and misuse us and then are able to get away with it because they are “above” us?

Today’s society needs to WAKE UP.

Don’t you see?

It’s like slavery’s coming back only the slaves are pretty little smooth skinned makeup wearing queens.

In a world of negativity, lack of dignity, and money hungry power, we all need a flower.

But that’s hard to grasp hold of if, in the hands of those who are supposed to love us, it is stolen from us.
