If I could change the

If I could change the world, I would erase hate.

Simple as that.

All skin colors and religions would be accepted and celebrated.

And lovers of all combinations wouldn't fear being seperated.

We are not born hating differences, its something we are taught.

And its disgusting that intolerance is the oldest war we have fought.

We all bleed, we all breathe, we all need love,

And I can't beleive in 2014 people are afraid of

Being who they are. Because society teaches them shame.

Supressing religions, blacks, handicaps, and the gays.

When all these people just want to be free.

Yet they still strive for the same oppurtunities

That I was born with. Because I am Christian and white.

And I like boys so I fit in alright.

But thats not fair.

We need to stop the hate that causes wars and suicides.

We need to celebrate differences and make peace worldwide.

We need to stop the bullying at a young age

That results in adults filled with rage.

It isn't right.

Until we can change as a whole, I will do my part

To banish hate and only keep love in my heart.
