If I could use my voice

If I could use my voice to let out a cry,

To let my thunder and vocal lightning strike,

I’d be afraid of the echo that returns,

But I wouldn’t be afraid to let my heart yearn.

What is it, you may ask?

What would I say?

I’d release my love for the people of today.

Despite the corruption and sin and sadness,

I’d yell at the top of my lungs and let go of my madness.

“You were born for a reason, created by a Creator!

Who loves you and wants to be your author!

He came down as one of us and paid our price,

So we don’t have to live a lost, broken life!

He is our Savior, He has won, set us free!

And He is yours, only if you’ll let Him be.”

I’d tell the Gospel. I’d do my duty,

As a Christian who has been saved and will live with Him for eternity,

My life has changed because of what He has done,

And I only want to share this sweet, life-changing gift with each and

Everyone.
