If I was Whitney, you would be Robyn

If I was Whitney, you would be Robyn
My grounding; my acceptance; my completion
Only I would choose you
And risk my international career's depletion

If I was Pat, you would be Neil
My harmonious; compatible counterpoint
Mutually supportive would we be
And hip adjoint

If I was Tina, you would be Erwin
A terrific testimony
To a love that can stand for decades
Without the official matrimony

If I was Ruby, you would be Ossie
Compatible, supportive team decade after decade
Only to be separated
By tragic old age

If this was Bicentennial Man
The box office flop
Let me be Portia, and you Andrew
Together until our hearts stop
