If Only

Location

If only, if only. Textbooks sat on dusty shelves, While students went out and did things for themselves. Cell phones rang unanswered, And desks lay unused. Windows were left open and let in the breeze, While students and teachers alike laughed and learned with ease. Classes were held outside, And the excitement of learning once more brought teenagers' eyes alive. "How should we change things?" they asked, And we answered, "Let's get hands on and actually experience new things!" A Biology lesson?, Great! Let's go outside among the grass and the trees and we can begin!
