I'll Miss You

Bright lights beaming down on a crisp fall night,

I never shyed away from these lights, even though others might,

Theres nothing like the butterflies you get before that first whistle,

Running down the field like a guided missle,

The roar of the crowd after scoring a touchdown,

Or running around the defender, making him look like a clown,

My coaches always warned that it goes by fast,

Speaking from expirience as they played in the past,

I've known you for so long, always by my side as i grew,

And now that i'm done growing , i must say i miss you.
