An Imaginative Mind

Dragging along
Desolation
Only to feel deserted
From the company not present.
Yet,
This defiant mind
Is not lonely.

A blooming rose of dreams
Needs to be watered
Before it can grow higher,
But once fed a douse of sunlight
It won't take long
To see a couple leaves.

A mind without imagination
Is a mindless mind.
How else will solitude be a fairytale
And a decision be a challenge?

What is needed is a thought process
That will never stop moving,
No matter the miles
It has already walked.
