Indelible Embroilment

Location

There are moments in the night when I wish for someone to lay next to me,

embrace me in their arms,

and not let me go till the moon finally takes its leave.

There are moments in the night when the wounds are reopened and feel deeper than ever.

There are moments in the night when all I feel are despration, isolation, loneliness.

There are moments in the night when the world feels too heavy to bear on my shoulders alone.

These are the moments when I wish I still had you. When I wish I could depend on you once more.

But this is what will make me stronger.

Morning will come. The sunshine will once again peak through the curtains.

Blue skies will return.
