Infatuation not Love

"I love you more than you love me", that's what he said

Isn't it a realization love has no end?

Before the battle even started he began to run.

Knowing death was close to knocking at my door.

"I love you more than you love me", that's what he said.

Hmmmm he loves me? Well why is he so afraid?

Why wouldn't you want to see the one you love face to face?

I came to the conclusion that it's not love it's just a fake.

" I love you more than you love me" is what he said.

If that's the case why am I standing alone?

Why am I not hearing a voice? Just a dial tone.

"I love you more than you love me", was the last thing he said.

Wish he meant it more, knowing that I'm dead.
