Injustice

Crying.

Constant tears.

Cruelty as far as the eye can see.

How come nobody helps me.

How can nobody see.

I’m in pain.

I’m suffering.

Nobody blinks an eye when they see.

It’s inhumane.

I don’t belong.

They hate me.

I need to get out.

I need to move on.

Screaming,

Yelling,

Why is this happening?

Why do they hate me?

What do they see that I don’t?

Why should my race offend them?

I’m no different from anybody else.

Don’t you see who I am?

The color of my skin does not define me.

I am my own person, can’t you see?

I make decisions.

I create things.

I have feelings.

I smile.

I laugh.

I get angry.

I cry.

I’m human.

Why don’t you treat me like one?
