Isolation Holiday

Fri, 12/02/2016 - 20:43 -- Tuckerr

Seasonal criminal
How you strike when it snows
It's not something physical
You put on the shows
Seasonal criminal
Wrap me in a scarf
Wrap me in subliminal
Wrath, force me to starve
Seasonal criminal
Drag the dream across my gaze
Solitude is typical
So rude to charge for these plays
Seasonal criminal
The trees are bare as my mind
My state is critical
I'll leave it all behind
Seasonal criminal
Every winter is the same
Dates back, feels biblical
A shot of minor pain
Seasonal criminal
Every year slightly harder
I drag my feet and my syllables
I'm left without a partner

This poem is about:
Our world
