Is It My Fault?

"What were you wearing?"

"What were you drinking"

All questions asked to a rape victim.

Never,

"Are you okay?"

"How do you feel?"

The female gender has been taught that if you were touched without consent, there was probably something you did to cause it.

But that it not the case.

It doesn't matter if you were covered head to toe or in a mini-skirt or nude.

It doesn't matter if you were sober or tipsy or black-out drunk.

It was not your fault, you did not ask for it, you did not want it.

You are NOT to blame.

So next time someone makes you think "Is it my fault?"

Think again.
