It's gonna hurt you more than it'll hurt me

You shared my passions

My resolutions

What should I do now that you’re gone

I’m far from perfect

But so were you

Guess you weren’t prepared to take the long way home

It's all awesome

It's perfect when you spit through you're teeth

It feels so right

The scales on your hands when they're all over me

I’ll never take my love again

Stitch it like a wound onto my arm

I’d like to say it hurt too much

But If I’m made of flesh and bone

How can I be so whole and numb

Are we all breaks in the same piece of glass

Ready to splinter into another’s heart

I hope I’ll be the sliver in yours

if I shatter and we all fall apart

when I shatter and we all fall apart

I will be our downfall I swear

Its barely gonna take one more stray tear

To melt what was built of sand and heat

You better be careful who you’re stepping on

Cause its gonna hurt you more than it’ll hurt me
