I'VE SEEN

Untold reality
Presented in a broken plate,
Manifesting in several fold,
Banging with the strongest force
I've Seen.
I've seen the good, bad and ugly
The impossible become possible,
The head becomes the tail
and the tail becomes the head
all in this strange world.
A first-class graduate pushing truck
'Chai' ! I've seen!
and rejected stone becomes the chief
cornerstone I've seen!
Hmm! young girls sent to university
becomes Aristo-babes,
Selling their body for money and grades
While young boys forget their purpose
go about drinking and clubbing
Under the guise of flexing. I've seen.
I've seen moral values becomes scarce
commodities
even as Civilization and Technology
Gradually destroys our Ancient Landmarks
Such that the younger generation
have no direction. I've seen.
The university that's meant to be Acada-city
has been transformed into Immora-city
and the society fast becoming corrup-iety.
I've seen.
Law makers becomes law breakers
even as law enforcement agencies
becomes toothless bull-dogs
Then I ask, what's the usefulness
of a kettle designed to whistle
but doesn't whistle?
I've Seen. What have u seen?
