Just Keep Swimming

Finding Nemo always taught us to "just keep swimming!"

To just keep going, no matter what, and nothing will stop you from winning.

But it's easier to do when you're a fish with fins and gills.

There are people out there drowning, pulled deep underwater by handfuls of pills.

There are some who look at themselves in the mirror and hate what they see.

I just want to tell them, "Please stay here with me."

I understand that a lot of times, life seems like complete and utter bullshit,

But there is still some goodness in this world, and you should be around to see it.

There are kids lying in bed right now, wondering and dreading if they are something that isn't straight.

I want to tell them that no matter who they love, it doesn't make them any less great.

If you ever feel shitty, like the heart in your chest is a heavy stone,

Please know that I love you, and you are not alone.
