Just a Simple Me

Location

My True Self

My true self is a lion

A gorgeous one you see

When she stands up fierce as well as tall

Her coat glistens for me

No one can deny her

You can't cage her you see

Her beauty is on the inside

In her fierceness we believe

My true self is a novel

A leather one you see

Contains the right words in its pages

Will always capture me

It opens big; opens wide

Shall give off pure sunlight

Lets us live as we wished we do

Allows us to see the truth

My true self is someone else you see

Someone who I want to be

My true self contains my hopes and dreams

It holds all my memories

It holds no fear; no regret

Just a simple me
