Who is looking at you?

Your friends,

Who bring out your best?

Your kids,

With clear, innocent eyes?

Your wife,

Love etched in her gaze?

You must be strong for them.

Who is watching you?

Your boss,

Who demands the best?

That girl?

You never liked each other.

The boy,

Who mercilessly makes fun of you?

Don’t show them your weakness.

So many people staring,

Overwhelming numbers judging,

Still more waiting

For you to mess up.

But when you look around,

Use your eyes, not your mind,

The only one facing you

Is yourself.

That one girl

A person can feel so much pressure. It often feels like this pressure is coming from outside sources when it is really coming from within.
