Kendra Scott
You were a neckalce that HE gave me
A gift, a present, a statement of commitment.
Oh how the tables turned as that pearl of loyalty faded.
I was happy, In love, naive to your shiny gloss
I hid from the rust and tangled chain, that stained its charm.
Oh how times have changed since I was last harmed..
Stronger now, without that chain of tangled webs.
On to better things without all that rust
With a new strong diamond like ME.
