The Kiss, Our Kiss

Tue, 07/15/2014 - 17:44 -- Kerr

The feeling of my forehead pressed against yours

Your touch, as always, making my heart soar

To be completely honest I'm a little nervous]

Your face coming closer leaves me breathless

Then so gently you let your lips meet mine

All I want is to go back and freeze time

Kissing you felt so right, so perfect

I didn't know it was possible, but I felt us further connect

I felt all our love and care in that one kiss

It was truly a feeling of absolute bliss

When you pulled away it didn't feel completely done

I surprised myself by going in for another one

I would have loved to kiss more, possibly all day

All afternoon I wouldn't wipe my smile away

The feeling continuously replayed in my mind

To describe it, there is no word properly defined

The butterflies you gave me were numerous, unlimited

The kiss flew by and yet it felt infinite
