Knight in a Concrete Box

Location

walls

imagination runs away from me

where they also happen to speak free

Walls

built up tears and harbored tension

wanting to be stuck in an alternate dimension

WALLS

my words feel like dirty deeds

tried to follow a courageous creed

WALLS

sword raised to take it down

too afraid to stand with the large crowd

WALLS

these worries, lamentations and child-like cares

try to smile under the armor’s wear and tears

WALLS

there runs the wild inner child

where she speaks free with a gentle smile
