There's so much stress
The last forty days of school
With all of the reports and papers
Books and projects
Filling out papers
Application after application
All asking the same questions
There's no time for friends
No time for fun
There's simply too much work
To be done.

But then something happens
Something small.
Tiny even.
A song on the radio,
A sudden thunderstorm,
A page in a book,
Or a line in a movie.
And you know that out there
There's hundreds of kids
Freaking out
Just as much
As you are.
