Late Nights, Early Mornings

Late nights and early mornings

never the same,

but always similar.

All begin and end the same way.

Holding on to someone who cares;

into your eyes, I stare.

Through the pain of loss

or through the trials of happyness,

I will be there to hold on tight

and be there for your needs.

Through thick and thin,

That's where I've been.

I am here for you to fall asleep

or cry out your worries.

I am here for the highest of highs

and the lowest of lows.

Here to gather your sorrows

for until tomorrow.

I am here because I love you.

I am here because I keep choosing you.

I'll be whatever you need.

Because no matter the late nights or the early mornings,

I know I will always say the same three words.

I love you.
