We sit at these, these empty desk
where we are forced to wear the same
colors like we can't be defined as ourselves.
We go out to this world to get our education
but it is the world that sucks is in the
devastation. Take a hit of this blunt and
be relaxed from this world's constipation and our minds
become useless because it is this very world that uses us.
Play the music in our ears so we can hear the singers
sing the songs that put us in a world of despair.
We sit in these chairs where we learn that history
put blacks in 1 or 2 pages where they didn't
explain that we were beaten taken from our homes
that we were the forsaken blacks who stood outisde
and looked in. OH god what our ancestors did to get
us here! We dont even respect the education that was
given to us.
Go head and throw up the gang you belong in it is because
of you that my friend no longer belongs here. I had to watch
them build a six foot grave that he would lay the rest of his days. Not
smile formed just all sad faces it was like a storm came in
and replaced the days... I despise gangs.
This world brought me here because without it
I wouldn't be able to write about the problems
that nobody cares to solve them. I don't want to be
another voice that goes unheard.
SO HEAR ME WORLD!
I'm just a black kid with a voice
that i demand to be heard. Your feeding off our young
generation. I go to a school that I believe still believes in segregation
where they make clubs that make us feel like were to ashamed of
to be in like were not good enough to belong with them.
Some of the teachers put us down so that we don't come up
but I demand to stand on our two feet and rise above!
We are a young generation with a voice but we have become
to scared to let it be known. How I want to break down cause
it is the world out there that makes me wish I hear no sound
not from the dopefiends or heroin addicts who ask me for
another penny to feed their addiction and not from the young
mothers who say "hold my baby so I can learn... get my education."
Are we proving them right? That we are no better! That we are
the terrors in their nightmares that it is us that will run their city
one day but that we will burn them down but it is us that would
only have reason to crash your house is if you keep making us
sit in these chairs looking like everybody else !
I WILL CRASH YOU! If you don't let I define I as me!
