Let Me Be Trans and GNC

I don’t need to fit your criteria
Of an ideal identity of masculinity
I don’t need to be what you think
I should be. I’m far from that

I may have been assigned wrong,
That much is true about me
But that doesn’t mean I’m
Supposed to be the epitome manly

I like to be considered pretty
It’s quite nice, actually
I line my eyes,
And I grow out my hair

But that doesn’t mean
You can call me “she”
I am still who I am,
A lovely, feminine man

Me
