Let US be brave

When speaking of America I often here the phrases that decribe unity

We are one, We are together, We are the protectors 

But things are not as true as they seem.

America is based on the traditional wording of, "It could be worse"

We never seem to take the first step to say, "We will become better" 

Violence, Sexism, Racism, there is no need for any of this. 

We are born to be compassionate and love one another

This is where the children of America are the wisest. 

If as one, America let their kids have their own opinion we would have world peace

Ism's are learned, they are not born on the tongue of a child. 

Children do not see colors, they see possibilities of friendship

I have heard the excuse for years that people resent what they cannot understand

But how hard is it to understand compassion. 

We in America must be brave

So god help the children see past the colors years from now

Let them make America into something amazing

Let them understand compassion

Let us be more like them

Let us be Brave
