Anxiety and depression
Constant thoughts and second guessing
My mind won't stop
And failure to resolve is inevitable

I impress my inner most thoughts
On those who care most
A temporary relief
But obsessive thinking takes over

I need something permanent
Tablet, stone or paper
Where my thoughts will stay
And my expressions are forever

I need to pour out to God
In written word
Much as He did with me
Through the book I call Life
