life

Location

We come from a conservative past

To a high tech future moving way to fast

The fate of these lands

Are now forced into our hands

Will we bring distress to an end

Will we have the efficiency to mend

Repair our delicate dreamland

Leave our footprints in the sand

Our oceans are destroyed by oil spills

Our water ways full of toxic waste that kills

We form our cities on mounds of trash

When will this world just come to a crash

We live our lives in search of wealth

While we damage our good health

We try to full fill our dreams

Is it worth it to fit in size zero jeans

Our petty problems make us hang our heads

While millions go unfed

We don’t realize the big picture

Just the massive presents of the bi-racial mixture

We must rise about the pollution haze today

Or the children of tomorrow will be the ones to pay
