Life is an Awesome Thing

Life may not be a walk in the park,

But it’s what you make of it,

Every day you get a new chance to live,

A new day to thrive,

Or a new day to start over,

You get to wake up in a nice comfy bed,

Eat a big breakfast,

And take a long hot shower,

That alone shows you have an awesome life,

Don’t complain about petty things,

You have clothes on your back,

And shoes on your feet,

When you start to have a pity party,

Look around,

And see how blessed you really are,

Life is a precious thing,

Don’t waste it,

Go out and see how awesome life really is,

Walk to a field with flowers,

Sit down,

Soak up all the different smells,

And feel the warm sun on your back,

When you’re at your grandma’s house,

And she bakes you that delicious apple pie,

Just to say she loves you,

Or if the day didn’t go as planned,

And your dog comes to comfort you,

Somehow he licks all the worries away,

Life is a rollercoaster,

Full of ups and downs,

But keep all the small special things,

Close to your heart,

And you will be able to get on,
