The life of basketball

Location

Basketball is in my blood and bones

It breaks me down like sticks and stones

I put my heart, sweat, and tears

In which I succeeded all these years.

Free throws, layups, and 3 pointers

Before the season i get hurt

Practice,practice and no game

I guess i'll never earn the fame

As the greatest there will ever be

I guess its not meant for me

As the season will soon begin

I will not be getting in

As the season passes by

Basketball dreams become dim

The ones who doubted me

Weren't with me shooting in the gym
