Life Without You

I sat in the midst of my demons - Where we discussed scriptures

and heavenly things only dietes were privy to.

When they spoke of God, i mentioned you.

They sat in awe of the angels and i worshipped you next to them.

They spoke of eternity and i could only fathom a life spent with you -

For heaven stole stars and hid them in your eyes and cradled the universe in your soul

and  i have lost myself mapping galaxies to your heart.

My love, if heaven is indeed a world away from you, may i never go there;

for a life without you - even an immortal one,

Would be empty.
