Life As You Know It

Location

Don't wear an upside down smile

No matter what your life is worth while

Take it from me, I lost my daddy

But I refuse to let that terminate me

Yes I miss him

Yes it hurts

Hate to say, but the grieving only gets worse

It took me years to break down and cry

For Christ sake I was only 9

Now I'm 17, and I have everything I could dream

Friends and family who would do anything for me

My only wish is for my dad to see and know he is in heaven looking down on me

I know I make him proud and I know I make him smile

He has made me an amazing person with a heart of gold

And that's something I will always cherish and hold
