Lifeless

Time, unsure of where to go

The past frail, the fire gone

Life, a long time ago

The world cold, death aune

If I just lay here

As dusk sets, come what may

Swallowed by the flames

Would be a relief to this purgatory

The world is who’s to claim?

At the end of history

To kiss your cheek

One last time, before the soul to reap
