Location

I cannot touch you

Not physically

Yet emotinally and mentally I manage to do.

You're so far away

But so close to me

I tell you goodnight at the end of the day.

I wish I we could meet

if just for a day

And all those dark thoughts would take a back seat.

I do not know your voice

I do not know your touch

But talking to you is my favorite choice.

Know that I love you

Know that I care

During our talks I will always be true.

You say such awful things

About yourself and your life

I never knew how much my heart would race when my phone rings.

I type my words carefully

Until late in the night

I will look after you tirelessly

Your depression I will fight.
