The Light at The End of That Cave
There’s often a reason
To give up and cry.
But don’t think it’s treason
When you stand up and try.
Lacking hope isn’t healthy
It’s really not good for you
You and I are not wealthy,
But don’t let sadness get to you, too.
While others might start weeping,
wishing it could be better,
You would not be caught sleeping
As you fight hard for greater.
When I feel down, I often remember
There’s always a light at the end of that cave
I no longer let myself sink
I keep up the fight and I always stay brave.
