The Light in the Grey

Location

Then the wind blows harder sending drifts of snow across the cracked parking lot

The stinging air slowly turns my face red as I trudge towards my destination

The rough air strikes my face with a force that I cannot compare to any other feeling

It makes me feel beautiful, resilient, and unbreakable

I sparkle like the snow in a harsh ray of sunlight

I am strong and harsh but I am beautiful.
