Limitless

Never once has a girl from dark skinned roots

Feel ashamed within all pain when surrounded by a self same

Intricately designed and colored by one hand

Until placed next to milky paint that discovered and took land

You can’t hate and imitate at the same time

but if you want to taste obsidian culture on all counts that’s mine

Give credit to King’s and queens of my past that you hail

If you don’t agree mouths should be comment-less

Brothers don’t think your so innocent in this mess

When will defense and respect prevail

That which comes through you

Not to say as a female the strength’s not strong

But to hold face and will the days break to not be long

It’s ridiculous

I’m not ashamed but to stand alone then who’s to blame
