A Little Boy's Reality

“A Little Boys’ Reality”

What some are exposed to,
can dictate what they unintentionally do,
from drugs to alcohol,
without a role model to call,
men of many colors carelessly shooting each other,
taking the lives of fellow men of many colors,
not only one, but many,
this is sometimes apart of a little boys’ reality

These hearts need a break,
there’s only so much that they can take,
a man to follow is what they need,
a fan, an idol, with a lesson to feed,
on behalf of the ones who feel fatherless,
to those that are bothered by this mess,
leaders like me,
should be involved in a little boys’ reality

The moment is here,
to eliminate all the shed tears,
to support each other through thick and thin,
together, we’ll defeat this pandemic and win,
for a new generation,
we’ll begin a new conversation,
for the next family,
in a little boys’ reality
