Lonely abyss

Sun, 11/23/2014 - 21:44 -- Jerico

Heart begins to race

Every time i think of beautiful face

Nerves grow
But you'll never know
I'm broken and  discarded
Thrown away and forgotten
At the bottom of a lonely abyss

The memories
Oh the memories
How they haunt and remain
Torture yet sustain
A virus unrelenting
A nightmare never ending

Was it better they ask
To have loved and lost or never to have loved at all
They've never felt this painful fall
A fall of a thousand feet tall
To the spikes and death below
Where the pain never leaves u alone

The wound won't heal
Scabs and cuts again
Let's make a deal
Pretend it never happened
Our first kiss and hug. We've never met
Go back in time and thwart our love
My love
Go back so we won't feel pain
My pain

Try my best to forget
But the dreams simply won't let
Feels so real
Just make this one deal
So I can move on
So the pain can stop
To leave this dark abyss
And my heart won't have to race
To walk again with someone new
And make new memories too
To forget the old
So this story won't ever be told

My heart begins to race
As I begin to take the steps
Begin to climb out
And end this year long bout
My fingers reach the top
It seems I'm out
Out of where I've been for years
But then you come back
To bring me back to tears
The dreaded memories
Flashbacks
I cannot withhold

Heart begins to race
Every time i think of beautiful face
Nerves grow
But you'll never know
I'm forgotten and discarded
And still remain at the bottom of this dark and lonely abyss
