Long Distance

Location

All my dreams, a thousand miles away

they lie nestled against him as he sleeps

too bitter and faithless to kneel and pray

the life that I wanted, I could not keep

I hunger for his voice, to hold his hand

two halves of the same person, torn to shreds

I hate the corn and dust of this flat land

barely held together by weakened threads

I hunger to run until I cant breathe

rise with the sun, running east towards his smile

I will take that life back, not sit and seethe

I'll make it back to your side, in a while

Their chains wont work, I'll break free and find you

Distance means nothing,  I'll get to you soon <3
