look outside

I look outside and see my brothers and sisters being abused
Growing up in the hood you get used
Look on the floor see a brother lying blue
Skin tone means nothing when being beaten down and abused
Seems the only thing we're good at is being accused
Look outside
See all the problems people say aren't theirs
The problems are ours don't split in troubled times
Grow together and become one and solidified
Trouble comes and goes as a part of life
The ones who work hard through and learn to grind
Those are the ones we build tomorrow on look outside
Look outside
If you don't see your brother or your sister when you see a stranger then you don't understand the importance of this life
We are here, the few, the minority, and we ask next time you abuse, use or accuse, see us as your brother or sister and helps us with our problems and we will help you.
