Looking Down from Above

One dollar
That's all it takes
To save a life
From a distraught place

Where the mosquitos buzz
and water runs brown
The situation is poised
To take one down

While we live here
all mighty and high
Children elsewhere
tend to die

The causes are preveantable
They just need some help
from people like us
Let the love be felt

Generousity is key
Don't take for granted
Instead be thankful
for all you've been handed

Love what you have
not what you flaunt
Share all you've got
need not what you want

There are kids out there
like you and me
who feel so much pain
and hurt inmensely

So give back when you can
help out those who need it
Aid those not as blessed
And replenish the depleted
