Lost But Searching

Location

Sometimes there is a struggle,

that slight movement

when you're trying to be free.

But no matter how much you want it,

you know that once you're Free

you'll still be lost.

Looking for a sign,

either coincidence or through unknown force.

You gather strength

from within yourself,

hoping it's enough to face

the real world.

But the adults who tell you

what you can and can not do

only place limitations.

Pushing the boundaries

to be Free.

Crawling out of the cave

may be the journey,

but what you're waiting for,

searching for,

are the short glimspes of light

that  reaffrim your purpose.

That there is a purpose

not just mindless searching.

So you'll search,

to find yourself,

to never be lost again.
