With Love, Art

Sun, 09/08/2019 - 23:13 -- sweese

I am Art,

As one might see,

In your soul rests part of me.

Painting, writing, dance, and more,

From pastel flowers to bloody gore.

Hephaestus, Athena, Apollo,

Nuska, Kothar-wa-Khasis, Lono.

From your stage children singing,

To new musicians' reeds squeaking.

Bes, Kokopelli, Abhean

Cao Guojiu, Seker, Gwydion

These gods of art speak through me to you,

So listen closely, as my words ring true.

Elenor, Ava, Iris,

Aryan, Wyatt, Silas.

No matter what your name may be,

I am certain you have found what I mean.

Ancient god, or newborn child,

Art has been along for a while.

So go, my children, full of me,

Go and plant that artistic seed.
