Love, Mourning

Location

I saw her there, out in the crowd.

I saw her there, my mind cried aloud.

She wore black, the shade of her hair.

She wore black, the hue of despair.

Alone she sat, in an empty pew.

Alone she sat, she was one of the few.

She staggered up, greeted me with a tear.

She staggered up, her eyes full of fear.

Then she left, I saw her cry.

Then she left, oh I wish could I.

I saw her there, we were to be married.

I saw her there, that day I was buried.
