Lover Sadness

Sadness as my lover
Loneliness as ink, as tears
Paper being the bed I rest my emotion
Side by side with sadness
I'm even happy around it
Cause sadness has been loyal
Bringing out hidden powers
Through the deep blue sea
Yet the everlasting midnight
She knows the moon
Moon knows sky
Sky knows sea
They know me.
Sadness is beautiful
The most humble of husbands
The most lost of lovers
Yet the closest like water scaring blood
It has me writing the unthinkable
Bringing out a robe that everyone wears
What everyone seems to resonate by its furs
The love is true when writers of old
Serenade their laments in the distance between them
Written upon stones after suicide or their execution
Their sadness, their poetry being the blood on the walls
Stabbing stones of rocks, turning them into softness
Guilt, pain, regret, and agony to them
Heaven, martyrdom, truth, and bliss unto I
Sadness loves me,
For I write about it
I expose my beauty within it
Armaan is hoping the Beloved grants him heaven
With the chance of seeing the sadness in it's beauty
Humility.
