Different Magazines Calling my name

Telling me a claim to fame

Telling me what I want to hear

Telling me to have no fear

Looking into a paper mirror

I feel perfection is almost near

I follow the paper directions

Buying my way into perfection

Spending money to feel accepted

Not knowing I was indebted

Getting myself in trouble for a debt that was already paid

Not believing in the perfection that the king already made

So next time I feel like buying my self esteem at the mall
